What happens when you offer a pint and a shot of Jameson to Morris dancers after they've taken a pass at performing at your gig?  They change their minds!!

A handful of the Taunton Deane Morris Men met us at the Carew Arms for our reception. They taught us the 'Not for Joe', which is a single-stepping stick dance from Worcestershire.

WHY WE WANTED MORRIS DANCERS:

1. to experience traditional English folk culture!
2. to have fun learning and performing a dance (the idea is that they'd teach us a few steps and let us borrow their sticks and I'll videotape it--of course)
3. to set my senior & single female wedding guests up with Taunton men! I think I see some potential future step-dads in the group :)
